Miho Shimizu

Miho Shimizu

Miho Shimizu, originally from Shizuoka, Japan, has lived in the U.S.A and U.K prior to moving to Vancouver, Canada, in 1996. She graduated from Douglas College in British Columbia in 2000.

She assisted more than 2,000 foreign workers a year through SWAP Working Holidays. Her six years as Western Canada Regional Manager of SWAP saw her act as the principal contact with Immigration, Refugees, Citizenship Canada (IRCC), and Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA). She also successfully provided career coaching services to foreign workers in Canada.

Miho is one of the senior regulated Japanese immigration consultants in Canada. She is in charge of our Japan division, where she specializes in Express Entry, Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) skilled worker category, intra-company transferee from Japan, Family Sponsorship and Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) / Work Permit applications. She is fluent in English and Japanese and a full member of CICC (College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants) and CAPIC (Canadian Association of Professional Immigrant Consultants). Miho served on the Board of Director of CAPIC in British Columbia from 2013 until 2016, involved in organizing and hosting seminars, conferences and workshops for Immigration Consultants and Immigration Lawyers.

Outside of work, Miho enjoys yoga, resin art and living on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, BC.

Matthew Sell

Matthew Sell

Matthew Sell, born in Nottingham, graduated from Oxford University, England, in 2002, where he studied Philosophy, Politics and Economics. He worked as an analyst for a technology based investment bank before immigrating to Canada.

Matthew has experience in all Federal and Provincial programs, including investor and entrepreneur programs. He assists Canadian employers in their applications for Labour Market Impact Assessment’s (LMIA) and intra-company transferee (ICT) work permits. He specializes in Express Entry, BC Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) and Business programs.

Matthew has lived and worked in Hong Kong, Taiwan and India where he developed a rich understanding of Asian culture and a sensitivity to the issues and concerns of Asian immigrants.

He is a full member of CICC (College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants) and the Canadian Association of Professional Immigrant Consultants (CAPIC) where he previously served as Policy and Lobbying Director for the British Columbia chapter.

Matthew loves downhill mountain biking and winter sports. You will find him regularly enjoying his outdoor lifestyle in the North Shore and Whistler.

Stephanie Chau

Stephanie Chau

Stephanie Chau, originally from Hong Kong, China, immigrated to Canada along with her parents when she was little. Have returned to Hong Kong after a few years and completed secondary school there. In 2010, she came back to Canada on her own for university and graduated from Dalhousie University, in Nova Scotia, majoring in International Development Studies in 2014.

She volunteered in English tutoring programs at the Halifax Public Libraries after graduation. Working with temporary residents and newcomers, listening to their stories, sparked her interest in the field of immigration. She is fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) and hopes to provide the best service she can to assist your immigration applications to Canada.

She has been working with CIP as a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) since 2017 and helping clients with their immigration applications. She specializes in Express Entry, Family Sponsorship and Temporary Resident Visa and Permit applications. She is a full member of CICC (College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants) and the Canadian Association of Professional Immigrant Consultants (CAPIC).

She enjoys living in Nova Scotia and appreciates the natural beauty of the province.
