For the most part, students coming to Canada no longer need to apply for separate work permits to find employment on or off campus. This change is undoubtedly helpful to many thousands of students. Our article, Work and Study in Canada, has more information.

Working while you study in Canada has many benefits. It provides additional funds while you study, introduces you to more people, and provides you with crucial experience that can help you stay in Canada after you complete your studies.
